Thank you for your reply and suggestions! I followed your advice and created an online-based questionnaire that I kindly ask my colleagues, translators, to answer: http://freeonlinesurveys.com/s.asp?sid=1z248l1199ube4o469378
I am very interested to gather as many answers as possible from various countries and understand the general tendencies. In case of success, I will come with a summary of results in a few months.
In addition to all the questions, feel free to write (here, by e-mail [email protected] or in the questionnaire itself next any of the questions) your personal experience on any translation-related matter not listed.
The gathered results will be used in a dissertation paper and in a peer-reviewed journal. I also intend to briefly present the results at an international conference in May. The main theme of my project is translation of European Union documents.
I look forward to receiving your answers and thank you in advance!
Best wishes,
