Ok, this is a term I found among the scientific instruments owned by Thomas Jefferson. I was able to find equivalent to all but this one. Hope there is a person out there who understands this word... Thank you all!

nehrozí - viem ho ale ma to nezaujíma ako si to kto preloží z češtiny. Existuje totiž slovník Česko-slovenský © 1981, kde to je uvedené na strane 109 v prostrednom stĺpci. To inak bolo známe heslo boľševika "Ja som BANÍK, kto je viac"...

Soudíme-li podle skvělé mapy, kterou vytvořil,
musel mít k dispozici i nejlepší geodetické přístroje 17. století: surveing chains (? měřické pásmo?), kvadrant,
zeměměřický kompas.
