I have received similar emails from various ‘PMs’ of motionrecruitment, referring to my DVÜD profile. The salutation is impersonal, and the people - AI bots, I think - have no bloody idea and ask for abstruse language combinations, or don't realise that I only translate into my native language. If you have a look at their email addresses, you never can find the name of the company which would be usually the case.

I have been approached today by someone called "Christian Dennis" of Motion Recruitment with the same scam: translate a 35-page pdf text in 5 days for 2,500 euros.
I found the original English version of exactly the same document online.

Mine was called Griffin White, and had a gmail address with the picture of an old man smiling in front of a car.
I did my due diligence before accepting anything and asked him for a payment in advance when I couldn't get any clear information on the Internet. Then communications stopped!
