Hello,
I am trying to add an HTML tag to my target text. The tag I need (span class=expandspot) is not present in the source text. I have tried to use Insert inline tag from the menu that appears if I right-click in the target text. This brings up the Insert Tag window where I can select the SPAN tag, however I can not edit the tag.
I am no expert on HTML so maybe I am doing this the wrong way and would appreciate any help.

To display the greater than and lesser than symbols here, you'll have to use an ampersand character followed by lt or gt and then terminated by a semicolon.
The tag you asked for was:
<span class=expandspot>
