When I happen to have brain fog is not in the afternoon but rather immediately after waking caused by poor sleep quality… A good breakfast followed by an espresso coffee solves the problem!

When my brain turns into fog, I just take a short break, usually playing checkers, which clears the fog almost instantly. Any 5 - 10 minutes distraction from my current project suffices and... I (my brain) can see clearly now.

Listen to your body Jun 6

It is that simple:

If you feel sleepy, go sleep
If you feel hungry, go eat
If you feel thirsty, go drink
If you feel distressed, go outside and breathe like never before

Have a nice day, guys.

Brain fog Jun 7

I have ADHD so brain fog is very common for me at any time in the day. I use some good strategies to help me focus:

1) Knowing when to take a screen break, and knowing that is okay to do.

2) 'Piggyback tasks'- We know some of our projects can feel repetitive or sometimes heavy, and we need that dopamine hit to motivate us to keep going. Piggybacking tasks is where you take something that soothes you or that you enjoy such as a scented candle, or light music in the back

Have a snack as you work, or a nice drink of coffee or tea by your side.

These are my most practical ways to clear that brain fog!)
