I am a Czech native localization specialist with a 9-yr experience in the l10n industry. I have been working as a part-time freelancer since 2003. I hold post-graduate degrees in Localization Technology (Grad.Dip.) and Comparative Literature (MA) from the University of Limerick, Ireland. I am currently pursuing a law degree.
I have been engaged by VistaTec for over 3 years as a Czech localization specialist to work on Google's products and devices on-site at a client's office based in Prague. Previously I worked for a 1.5 yr as a Czech localization tester at Apple Inc., Cork, Ireland), where I was responsible for the quality of the first official Czech version of Mac OS X in 10.7 Lion. I also have a 7-month l10n experience from Symbio Oy, Tampere, Finland, where I tested Nokia N900.
