I have worked as a freelance translator for 30 years, 25 years
full-time. I cooperate with agencies as well as with many end clients. I am a native speaker of both Czech and
Slovak. I started to study German some 33 years ago, thus I am also a
native-level German speaker.

I am a high-profile translator with
profound knowledge of different fields. My competence in translation is based not just on my language skills and general knowledge, but also on the know-how backed up by my engineering
and banking/financial studies.
In all of my projects I focus on correct terminology (I have an extensive term database in different fields and a network of experts) and on the overall linguistic
quality of target text. I am reliable and strongly motivated to deliver the best translation possible.
I work with several commercial CAT tools (Trados, Transit, MemoQ, Across, Memsource or XTM) as well as with the customized CATTs.
