Is there a way to use an old personal TM with a client TM and send back to the client only his TM?

But please do not use your original TM, but make a copy of this. Merge the copy of your TM and a copy of customers TM. Use this TM for work. After you're done open the original TM from you and use the cleanup function to insert the translation done into your TM. Repeat this step for the original customer TM and you're ready.
Hello Jerzy,
what do you mean by original TM?
Anyway, Attila´s solution seemed easier to me as I just need to check some terms from my personal TM from time to time. The only problem is I donç t know if I did it right because when I check a term it seems that only terms from the client TM appear.

Language variations could cause a problem...

That's what I remember from reading these Trados related comments. I also remember someone said that you could create a new TM with the languages set up as the ones in your client's TM (or vice versa). Export the TM that has different languages, and then import that txt or tmx file to the new, empty TM. That might do the trick.
