: Not sure "privately managed" really gives the idea of "attrezzata"

It's a bit of a sticky term - these beaches aren't really private, so I feel that "privately managed" conveys the idea that you have to pay for amenities. It seems that others have chosen this solution too for a uniquely Italian situation!
