Number 4000 should be posted within 1 hour. Those of us who have followed this drama for months and years await the magic moment with breathless anticipation. The great unanswered questions remain: Which pair will it be in? What level of incompetence will it reflect?

[Edited at 2012-05-17 10:30 GMT] I seem to remember it working all the time, even in the forums. Must be getting confused.

Asking questions is sooooo time-consuming | May 17, 2012 |
In my view prolific askers get their come-uppance in the sheer time involved. Posting a question, being unable to complete your translation until you get replies, evaluating the answers (if you do) and awarding points (if you do) all take time - even if it's ony 5 minutes a question, the person who asked 4000 questions has spent over 333 hours on the task. However, if there is going to be a prolific asker's wooden spoon, it's a bit hard to decide whether the winner should be "Asked:... Answered 11 and "asked" 3500+ but only between 2 languages and mostly for translations into the source language. Takes some beating imo

Translating into a language you don't speak properly ... | May 17, 2012 |
... is indeed the problem. But if we post comments such as "Should you really be translating into this language?" it's we who get excommunicated, not the incompetent translator.
