At any rate, visit our site www.multilingual-publishing.com and you may realize that we already intended to translate and publish classical Arabic literature for the whole world to know the glorious past of the Arab culture.
If there is a way I can be useful to your cutlural initiative, count me in. I am a lexicographer and author of various language books, including texts teaching Arabic to non-Arabs.

I was glad to receive your kind and supportive message. Of course there are many people translating out of Arabic who expressed their interest to join . Bearing in mind that non-Arab translators could also make contribution to Arabic literature and culture we have chosen to call our association “World Arabic (not Arab) Translators’ Association” to avoid any ethnic smell and to open the Association even to non-Arabs.
We are very optimistic that you would make substantial contribution to our association.
Welcome on board Paz as a founding member .We would be glad to have your input and contribution in this respect.

نشكرك أستاذنا الكبير . نعم يجب أن يتسع المجال لكل أنواع و أشكال الترجمة و ها هي العقول و الطاقات العربية متحفزة تنتظر بفارغ الصبر لتأخذ دورها في إثراء ساحة الترجمة و التعريب و النشر بخبراتها . ندرك كذلك أن هنالك منظمة أهلية للترجمة في لبنان و في غيرها من البلدان لكن نحن ندعو هذه المؤسسات و المنظمات الصغيرة و الفرعية إلى الالتحاق بالجمعية الأم التي تشكل المظلة و المرجعية و الأصل و نرحب بها و بمشاركاتها.

أولا أشكرك على رسالتك اللطيفة و نبارك لكم جهودكم الطيبة أيضا التي تصب في خدمة قضايا الترجمة و النهوض بالعمل الموسوعي في الوطن العربي. لقد زرت موقعكم و تشرفت بما تقومون به من جهد محمود.
نحن كلنا آذان صاغية و رغبة في التعاون مع أي جهد مخلص و حشد كل الطاقات العربية لكن نود قبل أن نرد على رسالتك الكريمة أن نستوضح عن ما يلي:
§ فكرة كاملة عن مشروعكم و أهدافه و تاريخ الانتهاء منه.
§ عدد المشاركين حاليا في مشروعكم وخلفياتهم العلمية و مقركم؟
§ الشوط الذي قطعتموه حتى الآن...عدد المصطلحات و المسارد التي ترجمتموها.
§ نحن نقوم بترجمة أكثر من 30 حقلا.
§ هل انتم مستعدون لأن تنضموا لهذه التظاهرة و الملحمة التاريخية التي يسطرها المترجمون العرب الآن من أكثر من 35 دولة بحيث تتولون الجانب الحاسوبي و الانترنتي من مشروع القاموس العربي علما أن لدينا فريق قام و يقوم بترجمة متخصصة من دول شتى يقوم بترجمة مصطلحات في الحاسوب و الانترنت و تكنولوجيا المعلومات.
§ أعتقد أن الرسائل التي أرسلتها لك أعطتك فكرة كاملة عما نحن فيه و ما وصلنا إليه.
§ كل يوم ينضم مجاهدون جدد من المترجمين العرب. سيكون جل هدفنا نشر المسارد و القواميس على موقعنا و نشرها الكترونيا و ورقيا لصالح المشاركين فيه و باسمهم حال تجسيد الجمعية الدولية للمترجمين العرب.

On the other hand, I also have an additional interest, and this is the connection between Arabic and my own language, of course. On one hand this is a technical issue (it's difficult to display Arabic fonts together
With German mutated vowels), but on the other hand, it is also a cultural one.
Even though I know that this should absolutely not be my concern, I see a certain problem .------. Try to find any other Arabic glossary than an English one (at least on the level of almisbar) on the internet. You will hardly be successful.

Please consider that we REALLY need linguists like you with your pair.
We have absolutely no policy to endeavour an English oriented policy. The only thing is that so many sciences and techniques are spread in this language that we're interested to translate to enrich the Arabic culture.
The input of the German Culture to the human heritage is absolutely evident to any scholar or academician. And we are sure there's a huge work to be done to fasten the bridges between our two cultures.
We will be very pleased if you join our association. We will have different language pairs departments and Ar Ger will surely be an important one.
