Por tanto, para disponer de unas EL “manejables” es imprescindible tratar de reducir al máximo las variables intervinientes así como *** las casuísticas *** para cada una de ellas.

In my dictionary 'casuistry' is offered as a translation. The meaning of casuistry that applies here is 'fallacious or dishonest application of general principles' but I feel that most readers of English would not uderstand casuistry. Any ideas? TIA
