This term appears in a press release about a new product from an insurance company. It has to do with customers being able to invest their money with a guaranteed return on their investment.

"Jest polaczony z koszykiem globalnych aktywow, w tym akcji, obligacji, nieruchomosci i surowcow, a dodatkowo moze zarabiac zarowno na wzrostach, jak i na spadkach cen tych aktywow"

As I understand it, this means that the customers can earn money if the price of assets goes up or even if it goes down. I can't seem to find how this is normally expressed in English though.
