Material- und Batterietechnik

German to English Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime
The complete term is "Technologien in Material- und Batterietechnik".
Can I just use "material and battery technology" or is there a more technical/ specific term for this? This text is about motors.

agree jccantrell : Yep, materialS makes all the difference, it means what goes into the battery.

agree Kcda : If they were separated another option could be material technique & battery technique. Since they are not, the S in materialS is a must and the word technology without "ieS". You have spotted the subtle differences accordingly. :)
