German term

Bodenschall oder Ein-Seitenschall

German to English Tech/Engineering Science (general) Ultrasound
Context:

"In diesem Falle ist es auch sinnvoll, den Ultraschall einseitig anzuordnen (Bodenschall oder Ein-Seitenschall)."

Re. multi-frequency ultrasound devices. A Bodenschall-Mikrofon is evidently a geophone, but I doubt that is relevant here.

Discussion

Bernd Runge Nov 20, 2014:
A single sentence might, in some cases, reveal enough useful information on the context. Here, it definitely didn't.
And, where exactly do I find the cleaning aspect in the source text you provided?
David Williams (asker) Nov 20, 2014:
The context is given above. This is about multi-frequency ultrasound devices used for cleaning purposes.
Bernd Runge Nov 18, 2014:
Oh, is this one of these High Confidentiality/No Context questions again ...
I'm out of here ...
Good luck.
David Williams (asker) Nov 18, 2014:
Eine Falle As stated above, I doubt that 'geophone' is relevant here!
In fact, I'm sure it is not relevant.
Bernd Runge Nov 18, 2014:
In diesem Falle? In which case?
Is this an ultrasonic cleaning device with generators at the bottom and/or side walls of a tank?
If so, your 'geophone' is extremely misleading.
