German term

Cave

German to English Medical Medical: Dentistry implantology
Cave: Aufklärung des
Patienten vor der OP über das verwendete
Material.
or
Cave: Keine Naht über der Barriere während
der Abbindezeit legen (Gips bricht).

this is from a question/answer style study guide on dental implants. On several occastions, cave is used at the end of an answer, followed by one or more sentences. Is this something like a conclusion?

thanks, MMUIr, for some reason this discussion did not "show up" when I searched the glossary, thanks to Maria as well
MMUlr Feb 24, 2005:
Quite recently, there were some interesting opinions on the use of cave / note / important, etc. in Kudoz: http://www.proz.com/kudoz/940369?float=1 Maybe these are also interesting for you ...?

Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass das lateinische Wort (cave = gib Acht) gemeint ist.
