German term
Fernröntgenseitenbild (FRS)
German to English
Medical
Medical: Dentistry
Implantology
"Klinische Profilanalyse, ggf. auch FRS (Lippenprofilanalyse, Untergesichtshöhe)
Arbitäre Modellmontage zur Analyse der Kieferrelation
Diagnostisches Set - up (Lachlinie, Zahnstellung, Okklusion, Lippenprofil)
From a text about dental implant procedures etc. I think they're talking about the actual surgical procedure (or maybe what happens prior to surgery) here.
If the text hadn't specified what FRS stood for, I'd be asking about that! However, I'm a little uncertain about "FernröntgenSEITENbild". Fernröntgenbild on its own is radiotelegram or radiotelegraph, but what of FernröntgenSEITENbild? Lateral radiotelegraph? Couple of search engine hits, but just two hits is not all that convincing. TIA for your assistance.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.
Comment: "I was somewhat sceptical about this translation at first, because I found "Schädelröntgenaufnahme" for "cephalometric imaging". But the links are convincing (and I do like it when people back their ideas up with an argument or references!). So I'm happy to use it and award the maximum four points. Thanks also to Robert for his answer and peer grade."

As above. Won't say I'm sure - not a qualified dentist
