German term

Ansatz

German to English Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation Wind turbine
I'm looking for a proper term which explains "Ansatz" and the verb "ansetzen" accordingly.

Thanks in advance!

applied / approach

IMO the best solution is to use use both words:
"...wind zone IV conditions at 63 m rotor hub height were applied."

"For the “standard” version, this approach is conservative, because ..."
Peer comment(s):

agree hazmatgerman (X) : Ansatz to me implies a more complete concept than a simple assumption.

assumption / to assume

"Ansatz" ist hier m. E. dasselbe wie "Annahme".

Weshalb Zweifel?
Note from asker:
Hallo Steffen!
