propulsion drive chain Explanation: I think it would be rather odd from the apparent context if this were to propose cover for rear-wheel-drive cars only — unless of course you also have one for 'traction'! I think here 'propulsion' simply has its original meang of 'that which makes it move' — i.e. the entire drive chain: engine-to-wheels. So this might exclude things like glass, bodywork, lights, door hinges, etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 heure (2017-10-24 08:13:17 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Actually, Asker, I think I made a mistake; do check with your own research, but I think the term in the car industry is more likely 'drive train' — apologies for any confusion caused! Note to that 'drive train' may OR MAY NOT include the engine; so it might be worth specifying something like 'engine + drive train' etc. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 heures (2017-10-24 09:19:14 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Thanks to Terry, it should be 'power train' |
