English term

eight-week code

English to Italian Other Food & Drink
Buongiorno a tutti!

[The company] presses its cider from a blend of tree-ripened, hand-picked apples and never uses fruit that has fallen on the ground. Each pressing happens on-site at the orchard and is made from a carefully selected blend of apples that ensures a consistently high-quality flavor, sweetness and color. [The company's] cider contains less than 1/20th of 1% of potassium sorbate as preservative and has an ***eight-week code***.

I think you're right:
If you look to a pack of eggs, you see a code of numbers that indicate the date of duration of the edibility of the eggs
Here, we have not numbers but I think that the idea is the same
This three-digit code indicates the date of packaging - https://food.unl.edu/article/cracking-date-code-egg-cartons
A constant cool temperature is much better than one that fluctuates. The fermentation time will depend on the room temperature and the initial starting gravity. 5 to 14 days is just a guide. The slower the fermentation the better the cider will taste. - https://www.lovebrewing.co.uk/guides/cider-making-made-easy/
