I'm translating an installation/maintenance manual for a company that transports and stocks LNG (liquified natural gas). The term "jetty knock out drum" is an instrument used in this proces. It is all the context I have, sorry. :(
I think "knock out drum" as in "flare knock out drum" refers to a tank that is able to 'knock out' any possible flares/explosions should they occur. However, I have no idea what the jetty refers to.. The material? The colour?
