Dutch term

afdeling interne zaken

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Management
this concerns a large company in NL - not a municipality

internal affairs doesn't sound good, so any ideas are welcome

Is er meer context beschikbaar? Welke functie vervult de afdeling? *Internal Affairs* lijkt goed maar mogelijk wordt facilitaire zaken bedoeld?

agree writeaway : Personally this is what I would have put-but without knowing more about what they do, didn't want to just take a shot in the dark ;-)

agree Suzan Hamer : Ah . . . yes, that's what I would have said too, if I could have summoned it up from the depths when I first responded. Internal Affairs is acceptable and in use, but yes, I think Corporate Affairs is better.

Internal Affairs Department / Department of Internal Affairs

I seen this used in businesses and universities as well as police departments. It doesn't necessarily refer only to government or municipal entities. IMO. I can't think of another way to say it. It's not necessary to use "Department". Can also be "Internal Affairs."

agree Johan Venter : Absolutely. Interior Affairs would not be used by companies, but Internal Affairs is perfectly acceptable
