I think that term is fine, though there are a lot of different bond options. Here is the term used in context:
"Zero-coupon bonds can either be secured or unsecured. Zero coupon bonds are issued at a large discount
from the face value. This is because zero coupon bonds pay all the interest at maturity, making no payments
until they mature. Zero coupon bonds offer quite a few advantages to bond investors."
