Marriage officiants
Applicants do not need to be ordained, have an affiliation with a church or religious organization, or possess a valid notary appointment in order to obtain permission to perform marriages if residing in Clark County, Nevada. Permission is obtained through the appropriate application process, paying the applicable fees, and completing the required training.

NEED TO RENEW? If you currently hold a Certificate of Permission to Perform Marriages that was issued by the Clark County Clerk's Office that will be expiring within the next six (6) months, you will be sent a renewal packet by email (assuming we have a valid email address on file) and via U.S.P.S. mail (assuming your mailing address is up-to-date with our office).
