Chinese term
被保险人成立时间
Chinese to English
Law/Patents
Insurance
Liability insurance form
Does anyone know if "成立" has a specific meaning in this context? This comes up in an insurance application form for professional liability insurance. Details are required about the policyholder, insurer, and the insured, etc. such as:
投保人名称:
被保险人名称:
The previous item on the form is: 最近三年营业收入
And then 被保险人成立时间
Does this mean when the insured established themselves in business? Or does "成立" have another meaning I'm not aware of in this context?
Any help would be great, thank you.

here 成立 can be understood as 正式注册成立。
but it's also ok to use “establish” or "found"

4 hrs
Time in business of the insured person / Time in business of the insured entity
It means "How long has the insured person or entity been in business?"
被保险人成立时间 = 被保险人的生意成立了多久?

The original text is poorly written.
In Chinese, it should be 受保人, not 被保人。
成立时间 literally means "establishment time", but if you want to ask when the business was established, you ask for the "establishment date".
That is why I think it means “the amount of time the business has been established.”
被保险人成立时间
被保险人的生意成立了多少时间?
