Does anyone know how to translate this term into English?
I can't find anything with "radish"!!

Localisation de la sarcoïdose à un ou à plusieurs os des doigts ou des orteils.La maladie de Perthes-Jüngling se manifeste par une déformation progessive des phalanges, avec parfois gonflement du doigt ou de l'orteil (aspect « en radis » ou « en saucisse ») ; les articulations peuvent être touchées. La douleur survient surtout en cas d'atteinte articulaire. Enfin, la peau peut prendre une coloration rouge foncé ou bleuté. La radiographie montre des lacunes arrondies, semblables à de petites bulles claires.

The puffy nature of the inflammation can make your digits look like sausages.
Dactylitis is a form of inflammation in the fingers or toes. Symptoms include swelling in one or more fingers or toes, and often in the entire hand or foot. The swelling gives the fingers a bloated, sausage-like appearance. The swelling may be painful and can make it difficult to move the affected area.
Looking at these images, IMHO, the reason is only that French doctors comparing it with radish but English with the sausages. BTW, in Hungarian it is kolbászujj (kolbász =sausage)
