XXX anatomical mesh is a polypropylene mesh designed with key properties for good clinical outcomes – large pore size and 3D anatomical shape for good compliance. It has the right balance of softness and rigidity with overall good mechanical properties for an efficient inguinal hernia repair.

I am concerned that the inferior flap of the XL size may tent up.
With proper dissection of myopectineal orifice (MPO) as described in the 9 steps to critical view of MPO (See FAQ #11), the inferior flap of XL size is designed to conform with the contours of inguinal region and provide wide coverage of MPO which minimizes the risk of recurrence.1,3
