Almost I think it's not talking about a journal, but a book, which is itself part of book series. The text you posted can be found in the "Introduction: Summaries and Comments" section of this book:

This is a volume (a book) edited by Prof. Franks, which is why I personally think "مجموعه" is a better choice (like مجموعه مطالعات ترجمه، نشر قطره).
