employment

the whole phrase translates as "employment". The inclusion of "subordinate" in the translation would suggest this is one particular form of employment, as distinct from some other type of employment.

Italian term (edited): credito da lavoro subordinato

subordinated (deferred) employment-related claim

subordinato vs. privilegiato = preferred or preferential *debt*. Surely, it is not the labour that is 'controlled'.

superprivilegiato = prepreferential such as liquidator's fees, local and business rate, unpaid taxes.

Example sentence:

BREAKING DOWN 'Subordinated Debt' In the case of default, creditors with subordinated debt wouldn't get paid out until after the senior debtholders were paid in full.
