Piping
Text is from Spain, describing the piping of a refrigerant system - I get the meaning here (I think), but I cannot think of a good way of rendering it - here's the context and TIA!
Serán preferibles las bridas acanaladas (diente / ranura) o las *bridas con cajeado* (macho / hembra)."

male-and-female (mating_ flange
I think it's calling for either tongue-and-groove (first term) or mating (male-and-female) flanges--two similar but not identical pipe flange facings.
"The "male-and-female" facing consists of a recess in one flange and a corresponding raised face or projection on the other maiting flange....In the tongue-and-groove facing, the tongue or raised face and the groove or recess are narrow rings located between the bolt holes and the port. The male-and-female and the tongue-and-grove facing have been extensively used, particularly on hydraulic lines."

En lugar de flange, también "clamp"
- manhole (pipe) clamp

companion flanges
Bridas gemelas is translated as companion flanges in Wiley Dictionary of Civil Engineering & Construction.
Cajeado could mean both "fitting to each other" (companion) or grooved (from the verb cajear meaning to recess or mortise.
