Welcome to my profile!

I am an Italian freelance translator, proofreader and transcriber, working with the pairs English < > Italian and French > Italian.

I have a four-year degree in foreign languages and literatures and a diploma in literary translation from English to Italian.

I am specialized in legal, marketing and medical/pharmaceutical translations, though I have experience in technical, textile/fashion, business/financial, educational and touristic texts as well.

I started loving this job in 1996 when I had to translate different types of contents while working as an employee of two companies in the food and textile industries, then 9 years ago I began my freelance career on a full-time basis.

I use SDL Trados Studio 2019, Wordfast Anywhere, MemSource Cloud, XTM, Wordbee and Smartcat when required.

I love this job because each time I tackle a new text I learn new words, therefore new aspects of the world surrounding us: in such a way I can satisfy my natural curiosity.

Moreover, I think that each word has a story that tells a lot about us and our fate: translating helps us get to know and understand ourselves better, which is a very important step on the way to happiness.
