This is the first session in a 10-part course taught by Suzanne E. Deliscar, Lawyer-Linguist, as the first step in understanding patent legal terminology. It is initially designed for translators who are beginning to work in the legal translation specialty but also very helpful for the foreign lawyers starting their international practice. At the end of this course attendees will have increased knowledge with regard to legal structures and specific patent terminology found in various legal documents.
