The Translation World Cup is over and MateCat and Translated.net would like to thank everyone for taking part in the game!

More than 1,400 people published their translations of the World Cup Oracles story and they collected a total of 76,905 votes. This is greater response than MateCat anticipated, so announcing the winners will take a bit more time.

Contestants also had an opportunity to take a look at a basic version of the new open source CAT tool MateCat. Over the next few weeks, the folks at MateCat will release the public beta of their software. If you'd like to be one of the first to use the MateCat CAT tool before it goes public and have a look at all the advanced features not used for the contest, register for the private beta at: www.matecat.com
