Source text - English Equitable access to safe and effective vaccines is critical to ending the COVID-19 pandemic, so it is hugely encouraging to see so many vaccines proving and going into development. WHO is working tirelessly with partners to develop, manufacture and deploy safe and effective vaccines.
Safe and effective vaccines are a game-changing tool: but for the foreseeable future we must continue wearing masks, cleaning our hands, ensuring good ventilation indoors, physically distancing and avoiding crowds.
Being vaccinated does not mean that we can throw caution to the wind and put ourselves and others at risk, particularly because research is still ongoing into how much vaccines protect not only against disease but also against infection and transmission.

Translation - English FIRE gutted property worth millions when it caught a wooden workshop in Luzira last night.
According to residents, the fire that is said to have been caused by electricity started at 3:00 AM and it began from a wooden workshop belonging to Manager Adam.
The residents called the police fire department, which came to try to stop the fire but it was too late because it found all the property had been destroyed.
Business owners who lost their property pleaded with the government to come to their rescue, saying that they do not know what to do next.

ABOUT LUGANDA LANGUAGE Luganda, also know as Ganda, is a Bantu language spoken by more than 8 million people mainly in the central region of the East African country called Uganda including in the capital, Kampala. Luganda is rich in vocabulary but also highly tonal. A word can have different meanings depending on the tone used. For example, the word "okubala" can either mean to count or to bear many fruits. The phrase "okubala ebibala" can either mean to bear many fruits or to count fruits, depending on the tone used. Also, an incorrectly spelled word, in some cases, can change the meaning of the whole sentence. For example, the sentence "David, bikka omwana" means "David, cover the baby." However, if the underlined word is spelled with a single "k", the meaning would change to "David, announce the death of the baby." Therefore, a good Luganda translator must also know how to spell each word correctly and take care to do so.
