Vehicles of the future will need to be safer, more economical and more efficient. As our engineers shape tomorrow’s mobility, there are two key principles that underpin their work: Evolution and Revolution. But there’s also one essential factor that remains unchanged: sheer driving pleasure.
Feel like checking your inbox or having a quick snooze on the way to work? Thirty years from now that might well be possible as autonomously controlled vehicles take over the job of driving. All this still seems a long way off at the moment, of course, but the first precursors of automated vehicles are already out on the roads: assistance systems that warn the driver of congestion, maneuver the vehicle in and out of parking spaces and can even initiate an emergency stop. The automobile is currently undergoing what’s probably the greatest transformation since its invention 130 years ago. Connectivity and highly automated driving are two key contributing factors; so too is the need to make personal mobility even more eco-friendly and efficient. At our company we view changes as an opportunity. We are a driving force at the vanguard of progress towards future mobility with a strategy based on two complementary approaches: Evolution and Revolution.

unsere Ingenieure derzeit an der Mobilität von morgen arbeiten, gibt es zwei ausschlaggebende Grundsätze die diese Bemühungen untermauern: Evolution und Revolution. Allerdings bleibt auch hier ein großer Hauptfaktor unumstritten: das pure Fahrvergnügen.

Allerdings befindet sich ein erster Vorläufer dieses automatisierten Fahrzeuges bereits auf unseren Straßen: Warnsysteme, die den Fahrer vor Stau warnen, automatisiertes Parken von Fahrzeugen, und selbst Notbremsen kann initiiert werden. Das Automobil durchläuft momentan die wohl größte Transformation seit es vor 130 Jahren erfunden wurde. Konnektivität und hoch- automatisiertes Fahren sind zwei der dazu beitragenden Hauptfaktoren; ebenso wie das Bedürfnis seine eigene Bewegungsfreiheit noch umweltfreundlicher und noch effizienter zu gestalten. In unserem Unternehmen werden Veränderungen als Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung angesehen. Wir sind eine treibende Kraft die uns an die Spitze im Bereich der Entwicklung gen zukünftiger Mobilität katapultiert. Born and raised in Bavaria, Germany to a bi-lingual family, I grew up speaking German and English natively. I spent most of my life in Germany and relocated to South Carolina in 2005.
