I have been working as a translator since before I achieved my Level One Japanese Proficiency Test, back in 1993. I lived in Japan for ten years, and began working in software localization while there, continuing to work as a translator on the side throughout.
I'm very experienced in localization, having done it for small companies, as well as full-time at Microsoft.
My translation career has been varied as well. I've done a lot of corporate advertising work, business documents, company websites, and, in more recent years, video game content, and computer software developer kit materials.
I've also translated art-related materials, included opera guides, and, more recently, several works of fiction.
My clients know that they can rely on me to produce accurate, yet natural and well-written translations.
Last but not least, I have also started working as a translator of materials from UK English to US English.
