you have a special place in my heart

While we could say that you have a special place in my life, in Hungarian we are more romantic and say in my heart instead of place. Especially when it comes to a poem, or song.
Peer comment(s):

agree Ildiko Santana : You meant to say, in ENGLISH we are more romantic, right? =)

You are right for this sentence, but in life NO
agree Katarina Peters : Janos, I think you tried to translate "special place" as "heart", which is not mentioned the phrase...

Yes, it is correct. Heart is a special place.
agree Andras Mohay (X) : A Google még huncutabb magyar verziót is hoz erre a klisére ("különleges helyet foglalsz el bennem"), de dalszövegnek akkor sem tudnám elképzelni. Ki volt a szövegíró?
