The technology used by the SUPPLIER in provision of the SERVICES is fundamentally based upon the U.S Global Positioning System (GPS), which is capable of giving autonomous position accuracy of 20m. The SUPPLIER uses networks of globally distributed GPS reference sites to derive observations that when applied to user GPS measurements will improve position accuracy to the decimetre or meter level, depending upon which service is used, and furthermore provide position integrity.
