Velvet Room and Safe House for me Oct 9, 2003

The Velvet Room is easy to find in Milwaukee. I would be open to either Nov. 5 or 6. Being a moderator of WITA (Wis. Interpreters and Translators Assoc.), I can help get the word out.

It's a nice place to have a drink and will be easy to find.

Velvet Room it is Oct 12, 2003

Okay, it looks like we have some consensus on Velvet Room. Is the 6th a big problem for anyone?

As a reminder: I'll be gone for the next 10 days, and my email access will be sporadic at best (if the weather, satelites, and the fates all align in such a way to allow my laptop running on a generator to connect via satelite phone to the internet!)I can't guarantee a reply to emails before the 23rd.

OK Oct 17, 2003

Let's do Velvet Room!
Susana, how 'bout leaving a bit earlier, so we could check the town - it's pretty. How flexible are you on that day? 7PM is already dark.

It All Sounds Good! Oct 23, 2003

I'll send a little note to Henry and get the little piece Proz.com wants us to have read.

As far as the idea of meeting earlier, should we set up a time/place for those who would like to meet earlier? I know Milwaukee inside and out and would be more than happy to join anyone who wants a whirlwind tour.

Meeting earlier. Oct 23, 2003

Jason, I like the idea of meeting earlier. I may be available from 5:00pm on. Any suggestions for a time and place?

Spreading the word. Oct 23, 2003

I am the moderator for the Wis. Interpreters and Translators Assoc. (WITA) and I can post a link to proz.com on the list serve on Yahoo! Groups. We have more than 120 members. Any suggestions? Or do we want to keep it more intimate? Please respond.
