Anything comfortable and practical. And, in this season, anything warm - including half gloves even - to keep my engine warm.

Oh, and don't forget the bunny wabbit slippers!

Happy translating!

Depends on the day of the week, the time of day and my mood.

And the weather

Depends on the day Jan 16, 2012

It depends on what I have to do that day, but this time of year it has to be something warm. Even in "sunny" Spain, the weather can get pretty chilly!

Track suit equivalent Jan 16, 2012

I take my dogs out first thing in the morning, plus three more times later in the day, so I have to be dressed enough to be seen in public. Oh, and neighbors do tend to drop in. So I can't get away with pajamas, much as I'd like to.

Normally jeans, shirt and jumper, but...
I have been known, when translating high-flown French prose about perfumes and suchlike, to don a seldom-worn full-length red silk dress, to put me in a different mood that lifts me away from the humdrum daily grind. It's more inspiring than slopping around in pyjamas.

Ready to go out Jan 16, 2012

This poll is an old one, which I answered sometime ago:

I work at home dressed ready to go out at any time or answer the door.
