The technical knowledge you may acquire, the legislation you may learn about, the techniques you may find out about - all wonderful, but above all, for freelancers, and for small businesses, the moral support to be gained from talking to the many others in a very similar position to your own is irreplaceable.

So, do go to these events if you possibly can - even though it seems expensive to travel, to pay for accommodation, to pay for meals, and in terms of time - because you come ba
