None really - and I don't like this new proz interface either - the long post I was writing just disappeared halfway through my rant. What is the bar at the top of this text box for? I click on it and nothing happens.
Basically I was saying Trados is too expensive and complicated, and its users and reps always seem to have "something of the night" about them.

WF basic works for me, with its samizdat-looking manual and online help, although I don't know what half of its features

WF basic works for me, with its samizdat-looking manual and online help, although I don't know what half of its features are for, not even the glossaries. It's probably an age thing - I don't want cameras, MP3 players, radios, bells whistles or touch screens on my phone either...

What little I know I learned by experience and osmosis. For reasons I can't understand and definitely can't explain I haven't managed to get the 2009 version working continously on any one of my 3 machines yet. I always think I'll sit down and learn in some down time, sometime ... but either I had no downtime or always thought of something preferable to do, usually outside.

I don't like the interface either ... and I miss the titles

Thrown in at the deep end and learning as I go.
For those who - like me - don't like the new interface, click on "Discuss the new commenting system" and protest about it

A 10-minute crash course given by a colleague was enough to get started with Trados about eight years ago. Thanks, Filip!

Me neither, the only mild benefit seems to be this indented reply system.

I think that the option "none" is missing. Most of the user-friendly programs young people learn by themselves, applying "what-does-this-button-do" method: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g50SXtsLDhw&feature=related

Attended a two-day, government-reimbursed training, then got a discount on the license! What a sweet deal.

BTW, this was my poll, thanks for your input and participation!!!
