A rétegkizárás - más néven saruzás - a bányászatban és a kútfúrásban azt jelenti, hogy a fúrási munkálatok kezdeti szakaszában megakadályozzák a rétegek közötti szivárgást, pl. hogy termelésre szánt víz kiszivárogjon a kútból, szennyezett víz v. részecskék szivárogjanak a kútba. Szerintem ez angolul a wellbore casing vagy borehole casing. A casing általában a saruzás.

Kúttervezés:
A felső szennyezett vizek leszivárgását a kútba, illetve a termelésre szánt és az ebből kizárt vizek közlekedését meg kell akadályozni. Ezért az iránycsőrakatot saruzárással kell elhelyezni, és azt a kivitelezés folyamán csak azután szabad visszahúzni miután az első közbenső csőrakat zárását a felszínig érő cementpalásttal biztosították. Ezenkívül minden egyes csőrakatot oly módon kell elhelyezni, hogy a cső külső palástja mentén a felsőbb vízadó szintek vize ne áramolhasson be.
Rétegkizárási célra szolgálnak a mélyfúrási kutakban használatos saruzárások:
- egyszerű saruzás,
- saruzárás cementezéssel.

Rétegkizárás - A kútszerkezet végleges kialakításánál – a szűrőrakat kivételével – minden egyes béléscső rakatnál a béléscső és a lyukfal közötti gyűrűs teret a beépítés után a vízelvezető rétegek közötti kommunikáció kizárása érdekében vízzáróan el kell tömedékelni.
Az elzárásnak az alábbi megoldásai vannak:

Surface contamination of wells is typically controlled by the use of a 'surface seal'. A large hole is drilled to a predetermined depth or to a confining formation (clay or bedrock, for example), and then a smaller hole for the well is completed from that point forward. The well is typically cased from the surface down into the smaller hole with a casing that is the same diameter as that hole. The annular space between the large bore hole & the smaller casing is filled with bentonite clay, concrete, or other sealant material. This creates an impermeable seal from the surface to the next confining layer that keeps contaminants from traveling down the outer sidewalls of the casing or borehole & into the aquifer.

Casing: Steel or plastic pipe placed in the borehole to keep it from collapsing. The casing is sealed to the borehole wall near the land surface with the annular seal.

The RRC has strict well construction requirements that require several layers of steel casings and cement to protect groundwater. The first protection layer for usable quality groundwater is the surface casing-a steel pipe that is encased in cement that reaches from the ground surface to below the deepest usable quality groundwater level. Surface casing acts as a protective sleeve through which deeper drilling occurs. The second protection layer for usable quality groundwater is the production casing - a pipe placed in the wellbore to the well’s total depth and permanently cemented in place. A third protection layer is found in the tubing, in which gas or oil is produced from. In addition, RRC rules require gauges that monitor these different wellbore casings at the surface, so if there is a downhole problem, it is easily and quickly identified.

Most már én is kezdek elbizonytalanodni... Szerencsére az utóbbi megtalálható a műszaki szótárban is: a bányászatban a "béléscső"/"béléscsövezés" angolul "tubing". Az alábbi oldalon ez áll:
