Statement of (the) Facts
Függetlenül a magyar cirkalmasságától az angol jogi fordulat a STATEMENT OF (THE) FACTS. Ez egy "brief", azaz összefoglaló joganyag, irat. Szerencsénkre mind brit, mind amerikai angolban ezt használják. Számtalan példát lehet rá találni a hálón is. Például:
"In the Statement of Facts, however, we are not allowed to argue explicitly. So what do we do? We argue implicitly. (...)
We can do the same thing in a Statement of Facts. Of course, in real life, implicit arguments often shade into innocent or not-so-innocent fabrication, such as when the story-teller's comebacks are snappier and the other person's responses are stupider than actually happened. In a brief, however, ethics, rules of court, and fear of the opponent's response should prevent fabrication. Rather than fabricate, the brief-writer must simultaneously tell the truth (as contained in the Record) while still arranging and emphasizing facts to lead the reader to the desired conclusion."

A Statement of Facts does not present a legal argument, but can nonetheless create a compelling reason why a certain line of legal reasoning should be followed by the court."

Angol olvasó számára a "historical" beszúrása félrevezető lenne. :)

Note from asker:
Köszönöm a válaszod. A "historical" jelzőt nem tennéd bele? A 'review' szó jó lenne, csak ne tetszik a 2x birtokos szerkezet - ezért egy kicsit más összetételt gondoltam ki: "Historical review of the case stated" - nem tudom, hogy jó-e- |
Köszönöm. |

Historical Review of Matters of Facts

(statement of) facts in chronological order
Example sentence:
(Give here a concise statement of facts in a chronological order, each paragraph containing as nearly as possible a separate issue or fact).
Something went wrong...
