I'm not entirely sure whether this is actually a Hindi word, please point me in the right direction if it isn't.
I'm assuming that this is Hindi cos it comes up in a plaint filed with the High Court at Bombay and, from what I can gather, the term Vakalatnama, which is also used in this document and apparently means "power of attorney", is Hindi.
Roznama comes up only once in my document, listed under No. 1 in the index of the documents filed by the plaintiff, and consists of pages A to C. Unfortunately it's not part of the actual document to be translated.
Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Bacically, it is an Urdu word. In India, though our National language is Hindi but most of the Urdu terms are used in legal procedures. It also means a Newspaper but the context provided by you simply relates it to legal field. Usually, such types of daily diaries are maintained by our police stations which is also called Dairy Day Book famous as D.D.
