Discussion

Clara Ogwuazor (asker) Oct 9, 2008:
Unfortunately, there's no other context.
I just have two lines:
Anruf Parken - Gruppe
Anruf Parken - individuell

Thanks
Clara
Steffen Walter Oct 7, 2008:
Please provide the wider source context in which the phrases are used. Thanks.

Selected

1. Group Call Park 2. Individual Call Park

"Anruf parken" can also mean "to park a call". Sometimes "hold" is also appropriate, but "park" is commonly used for businesses. See references for specifics.

agree Ingeborg Gowans (X) : I would say this is the right terminology here, but a bit more context wouod have been helpful

to put a call on hold

I think this is what is meant with "Parken"
Peer comment(s):

agree Kathi Stock : That's how I understand it, too.

agree interpr8er : yes, or "to place a call on hold" http://uits.iu.edu/page/alsk

neutral Orion Schmidt : I believe more context is necessary, since "putting a call on hold" and "parking a call" are slightly different.
