I am not attempting to come up with a literal translation here. When we look at a set
of results, say percentatge of infected patients age, then we can consider the plot
and think of what the underlying distributon might be leading to such a plot.
There are many kind of distributions: Gaussian, Maxwell, etc.
Of course more context would be very helpful.
