"Fazit
The end of this article about dental porcelains and ceramics. I haven't got the foggiest idea what a "Datenlage" is. Have the strange feeling I've asked about this word before, but can find nothing in the Glossary Search, so I guess I haven't. Anyway, surely the -lage bit is redundant and they just mean plain old Daten! TIA for any light you can shed on this obscure word.

Comment: "Thanks everyone. I'm going to go with "findings", here, and Steffen's phrasing was quite helpful also. But I've decided to include a couple of Cilian's suggestions in the glossary too. Thanks once again for your assistance."

documentation
I understand it to mean sth. like 'data status' (or 'verified findings' - to account for 'gesichert' too) so maybe one of the following:
documentation
substantiation
confirmation
verification

Originally asked about it as "DL". Would still appreciate some fresh input though.
