How to translate the name of this Act into English? The problem is that the name of the Act does not say what it is about. A number of possibilities are on the web but they are long and the name in German is at least relatively brief. "Contributions Stability Act" is a possibility but it doesn't sound natural. What do others think? Comments welcome. Yorick

"Durch das Beitragssicherungsgesetz von 2002, das den gesetzlichen Krankenkassen erhöhte Rabatte auf Arzneimittel einräumt, konnten die Arzneimittelausgaben der gesetzlichen Krankenversicherung (GKV) in den letzten Jahren gebremst werden"

The Act on the Stabilizing of Contributions to Statutory Health Insurers (BSSichG - Beitragssicherungsgesetz) came into effect on January 01, 2003. Pharmaceutical wholesalers will be affected by this law, inasmuch as they are supposed to make a compulsory contribution in the amount of Euro 600 million.
