German term

Abgehakt

German to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
Auszug aus einem Wirtschaftszeitungsbericht:

put aside/shrugged off/sees it as a thing of the past

waved off/yesterday's news/laid ad acta/no longer an issue/having passed/put behind him

The literal 'checked off' probably not so good here. Basically means 'out of sight, out of mind'
